Terms of service

1 The Service — The Total Sleep Reset

The Total Sleep Reset is a comprehensive, personalised sleep optimisation service for families with children aged newborn to 5 years. The service includes the following:

  • Pre-consult sleep assessment questionnaire — sent automatically after payment and to be completed at least 48 hours before your initial call.
  • 30-minute initial consultation via video call — a root cause discovery session where we go deeper into the WHY behind your child's sleep challenges.
  • Personalised sleep plan — written and delivered to you via email within 24 hours of the initial consultation.
  • 60-minute sleep plan review call — a video call to walk through your plan in detail, answer your questions, and make sure you feel completely confident before you begin.
  • 2 weeks of WhatsApp support — Monday to Friday during set check-in windows. Includes daily sleep log review and plan tweaks as needed.
  • Wrap-up email — sent at the end of the 2-week support period with a summary of progress and guidance on where to from here.
  • 3-month SOS follow-up call — a 15-minute call redeemable any time within 3 months of the wrap-up email.

This service is designed for families who are ready to commit to the process. It is not a quick fix — it is a whole-family approach that looks at nutrition, environment, emotional regulation, and any relevant medical factors, with better sleep as the natural outcome.

2 What You Can Expect from Me
  • I will review your sleep assessment questionnaire thoroughly before our initial call.
  • I will show up on time, prepared, and fully focused on your family.
  • I will deliver your personalised sleep plan within 24 hours of our initial consultation.
  • I will be available on WhatsApp Monday to Friday during set check-in windows for the duration of your 2-week support period.
  • I will review your daily sleep logs and respond to messages within the agreed timeframe.
  • I will make reasonable adjustments to your plan as your child progresses.
  • I will refer you to a medical professional if I believe there is an underlying health concern that needs attention before or during our work together.
  • I will always act in the best interests of your child and your family.

3 What I Expect from You

For this to work, I need you to be committed. Here is what that looks like:

  • Complete the sleep assessment questionnaire honestly and in full at least 48 hours before your initial call.
  • Show up on time for both your initial consultation and your plan review call.
  • Come to both calls somewhere quiet where you can focus, take notes, and ask questions.
  • Read your sleep plan thoroughly before your plan review call so we can use our time together effectively.
  • Be consistent with the strategies in your sleep plan. Consistency is the single biggest factor in whether this works.
  • Keep your daily sleep logs updated during the 2-week support period and share them with me during check-in windows.
  • Communicate openly if something is not working or if you have concerns. I cannot help you if I do not know what is going on.
  • Where applicable, ensure your partner or support person is on board with the plan. Sleep changes are most effective when everyone in the house is consistent.

4 WhatsApp Support — Boundaries & Expectations

Your 2-week WhatsApp support is one of the most valuable parts of The Total Sleep Reset. Here is how it works:

Support hours:

Monday to Friday only. Messages received over the weekend will be responded to on Monday morning.

Check-in windows and response times will be confirmed in your welcome email.

Messages received outside of check-in windows will be responded to at the next available check-in time.

Please note the following:

  • WhatsApp support does not include after-hours, overnight, or weekend responses.
  • This support is for sleep-related questions and updates only.
  • The 2-week support period begins on the date of your initial consultation, not the date your plan is delivered.
  • If you go more than 5 consecutive business days without making contact during your support period, your remaining support days may be forfeited. Please reach out even if things are going well.
  • Messages, advice, sleep plans, and any content shared via WhatsApp remain the intellectual property of The Little Sleeping Baby and may not be shared, screenshotted, or distributed without written consent.

5 Illness Policy

I understand that babies and toddlers get sick — it is part of life. Here is how illness is handled during our time working together:

Minor illness — continue the plan:

Minor symptoms such as a runny nose, mild teething discomfort, or a slight cough do not warrant a pause. We continue with the plan and I will make adjustments as needed to account for your child being a little under the weather.

Significant illness — short pause granted:

A pause may be granted if your child has a confirmed fever (temperature of 38°C or above) OR has been seen by a doctor and advised to rest.

The following conditions apply:

  • You must notify me as soon as possible when the illness begins.
  • The pause is a maximum of 3 days from the date I am notified.
  • After 3 days the support period resumes automatically, regardless of whether your child has fully recovered. I will work with you to adjust the plan appropriately.
  • A maximum of one illness pause is permitted per 2-week support period.
  • If illness is more serious or prolonged, extensions are assessed at my discretion on a case-by-case basis.

Please note: mild teething, growth spurts, or developmental leaps are a normal part of the process and are not grounds for a pause. I will support you through these as they arise.

6 The 3-Month SOS Follow-Up Call
  • Your 3-month SOS call is a 30-minute video or phone check-in included in The Total Sleep Reset.
  • It is redeemable any time within 3 calendar months from the date of your wrap-up email.
  • It must be booked via email. Please email hello@thelittlesleepingbaby.com.au
  • It expires after 3 months and cannot be extended, transferred, or redeemed for any other service.
  • It covers sleep-related questions only and does not include a new sleep plan or written follow-up.

7 Scheduling, Cancellations & Rescheduling
  • Both your initial consultation and your plan review call must be booked within 30 days of payment.
  • Please give at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule either call.
  • Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice, or missed calls without notice, may result in that session being forfeited.
  • I will always do my best to accommodate rescheduling requests where reasonable notice has been given.
  • If I need to reschedule due to illness or an emergency on my end, I will notify you as soon as possible and offer an alternative time within 48 hours.

8 Payments & Refunds
  • Payment is required in full at the time of booking to secure your place.
  • All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of GST where applicable.
  • Once your sleep assessment questionnaire has been reviewed or your initial consultation has taken place, no refund will be issued as work has commenced.
  • If you cancel before the questionnaire has been reviewed and before your initial consultation, a refund may be issued at my discretion, less any applicable processing fees.
  • While I do not guarantee specific results — because sleep outcomes depend significantly on your consistency and commitment — I comply fully with Australian Consumer Law. If a major service failure occurs on my end, an appropriate remedy will be provided.
  • If I determine that your child's sleep challenges require medical attention before we can proceed, I will discuss a refund with you on a case-by-case basis.

9 Safe Sleep & Client Responsibility

The safety of your child is always the top priority. By proceeding with this service, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

  • You have ensured that your child's sleep environment is safe and in line with current safe sleep guidelines as recommended by Red Nose Australia.
  • You take full responsibility for how you implement any strategies, advice, or recommendations provided during consultations or within your sleep plan.
  • The Little Sleeping Baby is not liable for any outcomes resulting from decisions made during or after our work together.
  • If your child is currently co-sleeping or bedsharing, it is your responsibility to ensure this is done as safely as possible. I will not provide a plan that requires unsafe sleep practices. Any transition away from bedsharing will be approached gradually and safely.
  • You acknowledge that sleep changes can involve some protest or upset from your child and that this is a normal part of the adjustment process.

10 Medical Disclaimer

I am not a medical professional. My advice is based on sleep science, evidence-based practice, and my certification as a baby and toddler sleep consultant. Nothing I provide constitutes medical advice and it does not replace the care of a qualified medical professional.

  • Please speak with your GP or Paediatrician if you have any concerns about your child's health, feeding, development, or safety before or during our work together.
  • If I identify what I believe may be an underlying medical issue contributing to your child's sleep challenges, I will raise this with you directly and may recommend you seek medical clearance before we proceed.
  • I reserve the right to decline or discontinue services at any point if I believe your child's sleep difficulties may be caused by an unaddressed medical condition. In such cases, I will discuss next steps with you and a refund may be issued at my discretion.

11 Confidentiality
  • All personal information, sleep details, family circumstances, and discussion content shared during our work together will remain strictly confidential.
  • Information will only be disclosed if required by law.
  • With your permission, I may share anonymised or de-identified client outcomes for educational or marketing purposes (e.g. general testimonials or case studies with no identifying details). I will always ask before doing so.

12 Intellectual Property
  • All sleep plans, resources, frameworks, advice, and content created or shared by The Little Sleeping Baby remain my intellectual property.
  • You may not reproduce, share, photograph, screenshot, record, or distribute any part of your sleep plan, consultation, or WhatsApp communication without my written consent.
  • This includes sharing content with other parents, in Facebook groups, on social media, or with other sleep consultants.
  • Your sleep plan is personalised for your child and your family. It is not to be used as a template for anyone else.

13 Social Media & Testimonials
  • I love celebrating wins with my clients! If you would like to share your experience on social media, please feel free to tag @thelittlesleepingbaby. I would love to cheer you on.
  • If you share content related to your sleep journey, please do not share specific details of your personalised sleep plan as this is my intellectual property.
  • If you leave a review or testimonial, I may use this in my marketing materials. I will always ask your permission before using your name or any identifying details.
  • Screenshots of WhatsApp conversations may not be shared publicly without my written consent.

14 Indemnification

By using my services, you agree to hold The Little Sleeping Baby, its owner, and any associated parties harmless from any claim, liability, loss, or expense — including legal fees — that may arise from your use or implementation of the information, strategies, or advice provided during our work together.

15 Force Majeure

I am not liable for delays or disruptions to service caused by events genuinely beyond my control. This includes but is not limited to my own illness or family emergency, technical failures, natural disasters, or other unforeseen circumstances.

In the event of a disruption on my end, I will contact you as soon as possible, explain the situation, and arrange an alternative time or solution within a reasonable timeframe.

16 Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes arising from this agreement will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.

17 Changes to These Terms

I reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The version in effect at the time of your booking is the version that applies to your service. The most current version will always be available on my website.

A final note from me

Whether you are booking because you have not slept in months or because you just want to get ahead of things — I am so glad you are here.

Sleep is fixable. I have seen it happen for families who thought nothing would ever work. You do not have to figure this out alone.

"Let's go from 'I can't do this anymore' to 'my baby just slept 10 hours.'"

You have got this, Mumma. And I've got you. 💛
